The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command held the Happiness and Quality of Life Forum in the Work Environment, where it was recognized by GREAT PLACE TO WORK for its exceptional efforts, pioneering practices, and outstanding activities aimed at creating a supportive and motivating environment for employees, promoting their happiness.
The forum was attended by His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police; Mr. Mohammed Mahmoud Al Shaer, Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of GREAT PLACE TO WORK; senior officers; employees; and representatives of the accrediting organization.
In his address, His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi emphasized that this recognition demonstrates the General Command's commitment to the UAE’s vision of enhancing quality of life and happiness. He noted that the General Command continuously strives to cultivate an innovative and inclusive work environment that improves job performance and boosts employee productivity. He highlighted that the happiness and satisfaction of employees remain a primary priority, reflecting the essential role of employees in this success.
Colonel Marwan Abdullah Jakkah, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department, stated that this achievement serves as motivation to further advance efforts in enhancing happiness and quality of life, underscoring that employee satisfaction is a core objective of the police. This dedication reflects its commitment to aligning with the UAE's vision of happiness and quality of life across society.
Colonel Jakkah also highlighted that this honor serves as an endorsement of the continuous efforts of Ras Al Khaimah Police in fostering a positive and inspiring workplace culture, ensuring high job satisfaction levels, and bolstering productivity and efficiency—reinforcing its role as a leading entity within the UAE.
Major Hamad Ali Al Shehhi, Head of the Happiness Section at Ras Al Khaimah Police, shared that the forum featured various activities, particularly those focused on embedding a culture of happiness and quality of life in the workplace. Key practices and activities that promoted employee happiness were highlighted, and the General Command was celebrated as the best work environment. Major Al Shehhi noted that this recognition motivates them to redouble efforts toward an ideal work environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and alignment with global trends.
He pointed to the General Command’s ongoing commitment to establishing a culture of happiness and positivity and stated that Ras Al Khaimah Police aims to continue its mission of developing an outstanding work environment that enhances the employee experience while supporting sustainable development goals.
The forum showcased various initiatives launched by the General Command, aimed at improving the work environment and enhancing employee satisfaction. Foremost among these are the Professional Talents Program, the Hero Employee Program, and the Rewards and Incentive System—all designed to support and empower employees and encourage excellence.
The General Command also prioritizes offering integrated wellness and recreational programs, as well as sports activities and exclusive benefits, to promote employee well-being both inside and outside the workplace.
