The Air Wing Section of the Special Tasks Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police recently conducted a comprehensive training workshop titled 'How to Deal with Aircraft.' The workshop, which spanned over five hours, was attended by 25 beneficiaries from the esteemed 'Sanid' team. Colonel Pilot Saeed Rashid Al Yamahi, Head of the Air Wing Section at Ras Al Khaimah Police, delivered the training, with the assistance of a group of department trainers.
During the workshop, participants received in-depth guidance on various aspects of handling helicopters. Colonel Pilot Al Yamahi elaborated on the utilization of coordinates, the intricacies of aircraft landing and takeoff procedures, proper techniques for boarding and disembarking, as well as protocols for rescue and transportation of injured individuals to and from aircraft. The training also emphasized the significance of securing aircraft landings during the safe transfer of injured personnel. Furthermore, the workshop highlighted the pivotal role of aircraft in expediting response times and enhancing the overall effectiveness of field police operations.
