Preserving and enhancing these achievements is paramount, supporting the ongoing efforts to combat crime and safeguard society.

The arrest unfolded following collaborative efforts between the General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police, the Criminal Investigations Department, the Ministry of Interior's Weapons and Explosives Department, the Special Tasks Department of Ras Al Khaimah Police, and the Al Mamoura Comprehensive Police Station. They successfully apprehended a dealer and promoter of fireworks operating from a small house in one of the emirate's areas. The suspect was found in possession of 1,038 boxes of firecrackers and fireworks, weighing a total of 18.5 tons, stored in an unsafe manner on a nearby farm.

Acting on confidential information received by the Criminal Investigation Department, authorities confirmed the suspect's illicit activities and formed a task force to monitor his actions. It was discovered that the suspect was stockpiling large quantities of fireworks on a farm adjacent to his residence for illegal distribution. Prompt action led to the seizure of the contraband materials.

Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi urged vigilance against the hazards posed by banned fireworks, emphasizing the risks of legal consequences and harm to lives and property. He cautioned against the potential for fatalities, injuries, and environmental damage, particularly among children unaware of the dangers associated with these materials. Highlighting the economic and health repercussions, he advised against their use during Ramadan and holidays to prevent festivities from turning into tragedies.

Commending the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies, Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi emphasized that ensuring the safety of children, the economy, and societal stability is a collective responsibility transcending the police force alone.
