Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, the Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, personally oversaw (Exercise Shield 1), aimed at elevating the preparedness for security incidents. This exercise was meticulously organized and overseen by the Special Tasks Department of the Ras Al Khaimah Police, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Central Operations at the Ministry of Interior, and the Directorate General of Central Operations at the Ras Al Khaimah Police. The event also featured participation from the Traffic and Patrols Department of Ras Al Khaimah and the K9 Security Inspection Department at the training village of the STREIT Security Vehicles FZE factory.
The Commander-in-Chief emphasized that the primary objectives of (Exercise Shield 1) were to train personnel in security negotiation techniques during hostage situations, the most effective methods for hostage release, and vehicle interception procedures. Furthermore, the exercise included a demonstration of the command's cutting-edge equipment and armored vehicles.
Major General Ali bin Alwan underscored the significance of conducting and executing such security exercises. He pointed out that these activities play a pivotal role in enhancing the readiness and preparedness of Ras Al Khaimah Police personnel in responding to various security scenarios, emphasizing that the exercise played a pioneering and constructive role in elevating their readiness and preparedness for any security-related contingencies.
