The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command marked International Workers' Day through a community initiative held in collaboration with Julphar Pharmaceuticals and Emirates Charity Association, in recognition of the vital role workers play in supporting national development and progress.
Colonel Abdullah Al Zaabi, Director of the Community Protection and Prevention Department, affirmed that this initiative reflects the police’s commitment to promoting social responsibility and fostering a culture of appreciation and gratitude toward workers across all sectors.
The event was attended by several officials, including Major Moza Rashid Al Khabouri, Manager of the Community Programs Branch, Chief Warrant Officer Mariam Al Salami, and a large number of workers who were honored during the celebration.
Colonel Al Zaabi emphasized that such initiatives embody the vision of the UAE’s leadership in supporting all segments of society, enhancing quality of life, and strengthening social cohesion and solidarity. He highlighted the country’s dedication to providing a safe and supportive environment for workers, ensuring their rights, and promoting their well-being in accordance with the highest standards of health, safety, and comfort.
He further noted that Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command remains committed to supporting national directions that uphold respect for the workforce and preserve human dignity. This is achieved through organizing community-driven events that include recreational activities and the distribution of gifts, contributing to workers’ happiness and reinforcing the values of tolerance and positive coexistence.
