Lt. Colonel Ahmed Ibrahim Sbaian, Head of the Ras Al Khaimah Police's Social Support Center, disclosed that the Social Support Center dealt with a number of significant and relevant social incidents in 2021, bringing the total number of cases whose issues were effectively addressed, which were settled in a pleasant and peaceful manner, away from the role of courts and police stations, and within the limits of complete confidentiality, to 403 to promote community security and family stability, whereas (49) cases were directed to competent authorities to proceed with their procedures after psychological help was provided to their parties. The center also handled (134) consultations on different social concerns and gave numerous educational advice for individuals to avoid future bad behaviors that may worsen the incidence of some crimes.
