As part of the Ministry of Interior's strategy to enhance security and safety, Ras Al Khaimah Police, through its Community Protection and Prevention Department, organized an educational forum focusing on the importance of a culture of respect for the law and the dangers associated with social media. This initiative was held at Delhi Private School under the framework of the Community Coexistence Initiative and the Together, Our Community is Safe initiative. The event was attended by over 150 male and female students, along with school staff, parents, and notable figures such as Colonel Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Bakr, Director of the Community Protection and Prevention Department, and Mr. Saqr Jamal Bilal from the Office of the Culture of Respect for the Law at the Ministry of Interior.
Colonel Dr. Nasser Al Bakr emphasized the Ministry of Interior's dedication to fostering a sense of security and stability within all sectors of society, helping to break down barriers of fear between the community and the police force. He highlighted that this initiative is part of a broader series of community-driven efforts aimed at promoting the Ministry's services and goals, ultimately working to ensure the happiness and security of society.

The forum reinforced the critical role of community members in promoting respect for the law, appreciating differences, and fostering harmony and dialogue between various cultures. These values are essential for creating a peaceful and cohesive future, underscoring the Ministry's community awareness efforts.

The awareness session was structured around four key topics:

1. Respect for the Law as a Civilized Behavior

2. Behaviors That May Lead to Crimes

3. Rights and Duties Within the Legal Framework

4. Respect for the Law in Social Media: Key Negatives and Positives

In addition to these topics, the lecturer highlighted the Ministry of Interior's services offered through the MOI application, providing a detailed explanation of how to access them. The information was supported with real-life examples to help solidify the understanding of the attendees.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A session, allowing participants to ask questions and seek clarification on the topics discussed. To commemorate the event, both sides exchanged commemorative shields.
