Today, the UAE, Arab and Islamic nations, and the world at large have lost an inspirational leader who raised the torch of construction and accomplished the process of giving and serving his people so that the letters of his name would shine in the hearts of those who live in this country.

To begin, I cannot help but mourn His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may his soul rest in peace, and to express my condolences to the leadership and people of the UAE and its residents, as well as the entire world, on this great loss, asking the Almighty to bless him with his vast mercy.

His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan - may his soul rest in peace - has been keen since the first day of his assumption of the leadership after the departure of his father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan - may God have mercy on him - to complete the path of goodness, giving and the comprehensive renaissance that the Emirates experienced under his leadership - may God bless him - by ensuring the happiness of his people and providing them with the requirements of a decent living, launching initiatives and implementing various projects that laid the foundations of the union and brought benefit to the UAE citizens and those who live on its land to move to his Lord’s side satisfied after he fulfilled the trust, leaving behind a legacy of hard and sincere work to promote his homeland's security, progress and prosperity.
