The K9 Security Inspection Section at Ras Al Khaimah Police has recorded a series of distinguished achievements during 2025, contributing to institutional excellence and reinforcing security and safety across the emirate.

Major Ibrahim Ahmed Al Shemili, Head of the Security Inspection Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that the section achieved several local and international accomplishments and actively participated in various events throughout the past year. These achievements align with the directives of the wise leadership to develop police work, enhance quality of life, and maintain security and safety, in accordance with the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Interior.

He explained that the department’s most prominent achievements included winning the 11th International Banking Board of Preferences (IBPC) competition for its innovative project on digital evidence detection using police dogs, reflecting the department’s advanced capabilities in integrating technology with specialized police operations.

Major Al Shemili added that the section also participated in a number of social initiatives, including training programs dedicated to the children of Ministry of Interior personnel, as part of its commitment to social engagement and responsibility.

In the field of technological development, the section successfully completed an electronic security inspection program in cooperation with the Electronic Services and Telecommunications Department, for which intellectual property rights are currently being processed. In addition, the section obtained intellectual property certification (Classification No. 1127-2025) for its innovative TADD odor delivery containers, further highlighting its leadership in specialized security solutions.

Major Al Shemili affirmed the continued commitment of the Security Inspection Section to achieving further accomplishments and actively participating in specialized forums at both the local and international levels. He emphasized that these efforts aim to support police and security operations in Ras Al Khaimah and across the UAE, while continuously enhancing the readiness, efficiency, and professionalism of police dogs to perform their assigned tasks with the highest standards of competence and excellence.
