On the occasion of Innovation Week and within the activities of UAE Innovates, the General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police hosted Major General Dr. Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Excellence and Pioneering at the Dubai Police, President of the Emirates Intellectual Property Association, President of the Emirates Association for Strategic Planning and Future Foresight, and the Regional President of the International Association of Police Commanders in the Middle East And North Africa, in the virtual educational workshop titled “Innovation after Covid-19 Pandemic.” The dialogue was run by Lt. Col. Yousef Abdullah Al Tunaiji, Head of Institutional Excellence Section and Head of Innovation Unit at Ras Al Khaimah Police.

The workshop discussed many topics, including introducing the concept of innovation, preparing for the next fifty years, which highlighted topics including competitive leadership and innovation, and the mechanism for transforming the Corona pandemic challenge into opportunities for growth and prosperity and launching a post-Covid 19 strategy. In addition, the most prominent Initiatives and projects to overcome the pandemic were discussed, including "Policeman is Your Neighbor" to educate community members about the dangers of the Coronavirus and urge them to adhere to measures, the volunteering platform, the innovative smart awareness through personal vehicles by sending awareness messages to combat the Corona pandemic when starting the vehicle, managing children during the pandemic by launching "Home is Safety" initiative, the Intelligent Remote Training Center, UAVs, as well as creating the smart helmet to detect cases.
