Ras Al Khaimah Police Signs MoU with "du" to Enhance Technical Security Services at GITEX Global 2024

The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with "du," the leading telecommunications and digital services provider, to enhance joint cooperation and exchange expertise in technical and security services. The agreement aims to elevate the quality of communications and electronic services in line with international standards, focusing on electronic connectivity, smart transformation, and enhancing the quality of police communications services.

The MoU was signed during the "GITEX Global 2024" exhibition, a premier global technology event held at the Dubai World Trade Center from October 14 to 18. His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, and Fahad Al Hasawi, CEO of "du," formalized the agreement in the presence of dignitaries, police officers, and officials from both parties.

His Excellency Major General Ali Al Nuaimi highlighted that the memorandum aligns with the strategic plans of both parties, aiming to foster collaboration, exchange knowledge, and achieve the UAE government's strategic objectives. "This partnership focuses on developing technical and security services in communications and electronic services, adhering to the highest international standards," he stated. He emphasized that these advancements will streamline police transactions, improve procedural efficiency, and ensure smooth security operations, benefiting both institutional and societal police work.

Major General Al Nuaimi also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company ("du") to further develop electronic connectivity and expand technical police services through smart programs and applications. He called for continuous collaboration to ensure the sustainability of joint efforts in enhancing police services.

Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration with Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command during GITEX Global 2024, stating, "We are pleased to sign this MoU, which represents our continued commitment to delivering cutting-edge technical solutions that drive digital transformation and improve telecommunications services. This partnership will strengthen the prosperity of security and safety in the United Arab Emirates."

He added, "We remain dedicated to employing the latest technologies and digital solutions to enhance security services and facilitate the smooth and efficient completion of government transactions.
