The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command conducted a comprehensive field exercise as part of its preparations to secure the third stage of the UAE Tour 2026 for men, scheduled to take place in the emirate on February 18. The event is organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, in cooperation with the International Cycling Union (UCI).

The exercise involved simulating all security and traffic procedures along the race route, in addition to testing the readiness of specialized police teams and the deployment of patrols at the entrances and exits of both main and secondary roads. These measures aim to ensure the highest levels of safety for participants and spectators, while maintaining smooth traffic flow throughout the event.

The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command affirmed its full readiness to secure this international sporting event and called on community members to cooperate with police personnel, adhere to issued instructions, and use designated parking areas to watch the race. The public was also advised to utilize alternative routes during temporary road closures, contributing to the success of the event and reflecting the UAE’s positive image in hosting major international sporting events.
