Ras Al Khaimah Police Organizes Martyr’s Day Event in Commemoration of the Nation’s Martyrs

Ras Al Khaimah Police organized a Commemoration Day ceremony in front of the flagpole, which featured a minute of prayer for the souls of the nation’s heroic martyrs, asking Almighty God to grant them His boundless mercy. The ceremony began with lowering the UAE flag at 8:00 a.m., and subsequently, in the presence of several police officers and staff members, the flag was raised again, accompanied by a minute of silent prayer and the playing of the national anthem. The ceremony served as a tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and a reaffirmation of the commitment to uphold their path. The event underscored the revered status of the martyrs in the hearts of the people and confirmed that their memory remains deeply rooted in the conscience of the nation’s leadership and the people of the United Arab Emirates.

His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that this solemn occasion is a source of pride, as the martyrs of the nation have recorded distinguished chapters of honor and glory, reminding us of their courage and sacrifices. The sacrifices of these righteous martyrs attest that the people of the United Arab Emirates never waver in fulfilling their national, moral, and humanitarian duties toward their country and their wider nation.
He added that all departments of Ras Al Khaimah Police are committed to participating in Commemoration Day, during which the sacrifices of the martyrs and loyal sons of the nation are remembered so that the UAE flag remains flying high. This day reaffirms that the homeland does not forget those who defend it, and that the souls of our martyrs will continue to serve as lanterns illuminating the path of dignity and pride. We share feelings of pride with them today and pray to God to grant their pure souls mercy and forgiveness.
