The Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police recently recognized local entities for their implementation of the business continuity system and for meeting the requirements of the Emirate. The event was attended by His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Head of the Local Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Team, His Excellency Brigadier Abdullah Khamis Al Hadidi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, as well as representatives from the National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority.
During the ceremony, Major General Ali bin Alwan praised the efforts of the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority in achieving their strategic goals of security, quality of life, and public safety. He also recognized the local emergency, crisis and disaster team in Ras Al Khaimah for continuously raising awareness about the requirements of the national standard for business continuity management system in all entities and institutions in the emirate.
Major General Ali bin Alwan extended his gratitude to His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Abdul Latif Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Executive Council in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, for his support and continuous guidance to local entities in pursuit of the best standards and requirements of business continuity. Thirteen local authorities participated in the initiative, with eight successfully meeting the accreditation requirements with high efficiency and quality. The recognized entities included the Courts Department, Department of Antiquities and Museums, Financial Department of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, Ras Al Khaimah Center for Studies and Statistics, Department of Economic Development, the Customs Department, the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Public Prosecution Department.
Major General Ali bin Alwan congratulated all the recognized entities and encouraged them to continue their efforts in achieving continuity in business by effectively managing crises and potential risks through the implementation of the business continuity system. This initiative is an important national standard that benefits the community and serves its interests, particularly in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, where it contributes to achieving entrepreneurial management of business continuity at a high level of excellence.
