In a bid to promote road safety and ensure the well-being of motorists, the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police has unveiled its flagship awareness campaign for the third quarter of the year. Under the theme " Make Vehicle Safety a Piority," Brigadier Ahmed Al-Sam Al-Naqbi, the Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, officially launched the campaign at the ENOC Village for Vehicle Inspection and Registration.
Emphasizing the Ministry of the Interior's commitment to upholding the highest standards of traffic safety, Brigadier Al-Naqbi highlighted the importance of ensuring the safety and roadworthiness of vehicles, particularly during the summer season when temperatures soar. He urged motorists to subject their vehicles to regular inspections, pay special attention to tires and brakes, avoid overloading, and ensure that periodic examinations are conducted to ascertain their suitability for safe use.
