The Air Wing Section of Ras Al Khaimah Police announced the execution of 233 various aerial sorties during 2025, representing an 18.8% increase compared to 2024, which witnessed the execution of 196 sorties.

Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Abdullah Ali Al Shehhi, Head of the Air Wing Section at Ras Al Khaimah Police, explained that these helicopter sorties were conducted for search and rescue missions, support of government agencies, material transport, training patrols, as well as participation in several national and official events held across the Emirate.

He stressed the significance of the role undertaken by the Air Wing Section at Ras Al Khaimah Police in strengthening security and safety by carrying out security patrols that contribute to quality of life, and by delivering required services during emergencies and upon the receipt of reports.

The Head of the Air Wing Section at Ras Al Khaimah Police indicated that the successful outcomes of all executed sorties demonstrate the competence of qualified cadres and the ongoing dedication to enhancing technical and technological capabilities, in alignment with global best practices in aerial police operations and the directives of the Ministry of Interior to ensure the safety and security of the society members.
