The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, represented by the Media and Public Relations Department, in cooperation with the Sheikh Saud Foundation for Supporting Youth Projects, organized the “Nation's Joy” initiative in celebration of the UAE’s 54th National Day. The event was held at Manar Mall in Ras Al Khaimah and was attended by police officers, members of the community from various nationalities, citizens and residents, as well as supporting external partners.

Colonel Hamad Abdullah Al Awadhi, Director of the Media and Public Relations Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that the initiative was launched to mark this cherished national occasion by bringing together all segments of society to share in the joy of the UAE’s celebrations. He explained that the initiative aimed to embody the spirit of the Union by promoting loyalty and belonging to the nation, reinforcing national identity, and instilling pride in the country’s cultural heritage and authentic Emirati values.

Colonel Al Awadhi added that the celebration featured a wide range of national, cultural, entertainment, and heritage activities, including performances by the Ras Al Khaimah Police Music Band, cultural and heritage shows presented by various communities, traditional Emirati folk performances, and parade displays by students from Ras Al Khaimah Modern School. The event also included traffic, security, and awareness presentations delivered by the police, in addition to competitions such as the Best National Costume Award for attendees.

The initiative further featured a raffle draw offering valuable tangible and intangible prizes, which added to the festive atmosphere and brought joy and happiness to all participants, leaving a positive impact on the public.

At the conclusion of the event, all participating entities and supporting partners were honored in recognition of their contributions to the success of the “Joy of a Nation” initiative.
