Ras Al Khaimah Police Launches 'Summer Without Accidents' Campaign

The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, through its Traffic and Patrols Department and in partnership with the Media and Public Relations Department, has launched the Ministry of Interior's "Summer Without Accidents" awareness campaign. This initiative, running until September 1, aims to enhance road safety and security as part of a broader strategy.

The campaign focuses on educating drivers about essential summer vehicle safety measures. It warns against leaving hazardous materials such as perfume, hand sanitizers, mobile chargers, electronic cigarettes, cigarette lighters, and electric scooters inside vehicles. Additionally, it stresses the importance of checking the functionality of brakes, tires, lights, engine oil, brake fluid, radiator water, air conditioning, and battery cables.

"Summer Without Accidents" is aligned with the Ministry of Interior's mission to ensure safer roads by raising public awareness about the dangers of keeping flammable materials in vehicles and neglecting regular vehicle inspections. The campaign seeks to prevent accidents and their devastating consequences, including fatalities, injuries, and significant material and moral damages.
