The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, represented by the Correctional and Rehabilitation Establishment Department – Reform and Rehabilitation Section, organized the "Family: A Fortress of Stability" forum in conjunction with the International Day of Families, as part of its initiatives supporting the Year of the Family 2026. The forum aimed to reinforce the vital role of the family in building a cohesive society and to strengthen family values as a cornerstone of social stability.

The forum was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Hamad Al Matar, Deputy Director of the Correctional and Rehabilitation Establishment Department, accompanied by Major Abdul Rahman Al Har, Head of the Reform and Rehabilitation Section, along with officers and personnel from the Correctional and Rehabilitation Establishment, representatives from the security media, and a number of inmates. The event reflects Ras Al Khaimah Police's commitment to promoting family cohesion, strengthening community bonds, and enhancing quality of life through specialized rehabilitation programs, interactive forums, and educational and recreational activities.

The forum featured Dr. Noura Ibrahim Al Qasir, Founder of Noura Al Qasir Centers for Training, Consulting and Research and a member of the Family Advisory Council, who is a specialist in family counseling, education, and human development. She delivered a series of awareness sessions highlighting the importance of strong family relationships in fostering stability, personal development, and successful rehabilitation.

The event also included interactive family activities that brought inmates together with their family members and relatives in a supportive environment, alongside cultural and social programs, recreational competitions between inmates and attendees, and the presentation of awards and gifts to competition winners and participants. These activities aimed to reinforce the values of family unity, social cohesion, and positive community engagement while supporting the correctional and rehabilitation process and contributing to sustainable quality of life, community security, and social stability.
