Thrilling Finale Marks the Conclusion of the Ras Al Khaimah Police Ramadan Football Tournament

In a spectacular closing ceremony, His Excellency Brigadier Jamal Ahmed Al Tair, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, crowned the Comprehensive Police Stations Department team as champions of the 2025 Ras Al Khaimah Police Ramadan Football Tournament. The final match and award ceremony were held at the Police Officers Club Stadium, drawing a large crowd and an atmosphere full of excitement and community spirit.

The event was attended by His Excellency Salem Rashid Al Muftool, member of the Federal National Council, along with senior officials from various government departments and officers from the Ras Al Khaimah Police.

This year's tournament featured 16 competitive teams representing different departments of Ras Al Khaimah Police. The final match delivered an outstanding sporting spectacle, with the Police Stations Department team securing a decisive 3-1 victory over the Criminal Investigation Department. Meanwhile, the Traffic and Licensing Services Center claimed third place after a win over the Ports and Airports Police.

The tournament also celebrated individual excellence:

Best Player: Ibrahim Al Balooshi (Criminal Investigation Department)

Top Scorer: Maktoum Rashid Rabia (Police Stations Department)

Best Goalkeeper: Abdul Salam Saleh (Police Stations Department)

Brigadier Jamal Al Tair also honored tournament referees, the organizing committee, the Media and Public Relations Department team, and the event’s official sponsors—including Steven Rock, RAK Ceramics, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority—and the match commentators, acknowledging their vital roles in the tournament's success.

In his remarks, Brigadier Al Tair described the tournament’s conclusion as a “sporting celebration,” highlighting the importance of such events in fostering camaraderie, sportsmanship, and community connection. He emphasized the value of physical fitness and team spirit among police personnel, noting that sports are essential to developing well-rounded officers with confidence and discipline.

He commended the championship’s high level of public engagement and praised the efforts of the Supreme Organizing Committee for delivering an event worthy of the police’s name and legacy. He also thanked the tournament’s sponsors for their continuous support, reflecting strong partnerships that contribute to the broader success of police initiatives across Ras Al Khaimah.
