In alignment with its policy to strengthen partnerships with federal and local government agencies and private sector institutions while serving the public interest, the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command has signed a memorandum of partnership and cooperation with the Environment Protection and Development Authority in the emirate.The memorandum was signed by His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, and Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Shaib Al Naqbi, Acting Executive Director of the Environment Protection and Development Authority in Ras Al Khaimah.
His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi emphasized that the agreement reflects the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command’s commitment to fostering collaboration and joint coordination to achieve shared goals. This partnership aims to deliver the highest levels of service and enhance the public’s quality of life. His Excellency also noted that such cooperation aligns with the Ministry of Interior’s vision and supports the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command’s efforts to enhance environmental security. This includes addressing environmental crimes and preventing illegal actions that harm the environment.
Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Shaib Al Naqbi, in turn, commended the productive and constructive collaboration with the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command. He highlighted the police’s dedication to strengthening partnerships across all sectors, particularly in the environmental domain, which plays a vital role in preserving the environment’s security and safety. This cooperation aims to prevent encroachments and violations that could harm the environment and overall public health and safety.
