Ras Al Khaimah Police Finalizes Security Plans for Eid Al Adha

Ras Al Khaimah Police have announced the completion of comprehensive preparations and security plans to ensure a safe and joyful Eid Al Adha for all. This initiative aims to enhance public security and safety, aligning with the Ministry of Interior's strategic objectives. The police have developed proactive security plans supported by advanced technology and electronic systems for maintaining road security and smooth traffic flow, involving coordinated efforts from various departments and police teams.

His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, has directed the deployment of additional security patrols in vital areas, markets, commercial centers, public parks, and specifically around Eid prayer halls and slaughterhouses, which are expected to see significant crowds. These measures aim to prevent violations or incidents that might disrupt the festivities, demonstrating the General Command’s commitment to internal security and societal stability.

The security plan includes intensified traffic control on main and secondary roads to ensure smooth traffic flow and reduce accidents. Emergency and rescue teams are on standby to respond quickly and efficiently to incidents, enhancing the rapid response capability. Security patrols will be deployed throughout the emirate to regulate traffic and ensure safety.

Ras Al Khaimah Police have confirmed their round-the-clock presence in the field and at comprehensive police stations to provide all necessary services for community security and safety. Marine rescue teams, including rescue divers and operators of boats, bicycles, and water bikes, will be stationed along the beaches, supplemented by maritime security patrols. The police urge all community members to cooperate with security authorities and report any suspicious behavior or emergencies immediately. Emergency cases can be reported by dialing 999, while non-emergency inquiries can be directed to 901, facilitating effective communication with the public. The police also warned against the dangers of using firecrackers to avoid legal repercussions.

Coordination with relevant government agencies, including Civil Defense and the Red Crescent, ensures a swift response to emergencies and provides necessary support to citizens and residents. Enhanced cooperation with the health sector guarantees that hospitals and health centers are prepared to handle any emergency cases, in line with the Ministry of Interior's objectives to ensure community security and safety.

Additionally, the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command has launched the "Happy and Secure Eid" initiative, featuring a series of entertainment activities, events, competitions, and gifts for the community. These activities will be hosted at Manar Mall during the evening hours of the three days of Eid, aiming to bring happiness and joy in a safe and secure environment. All citizens, residents, and visitors are invited to join and enjoy the exciting shows.
